SMWPHI The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a * Special Marine Warning for... Coastal waters from Great Egg Inlet NJ to Fenwick Island DE out 20 nm... * Until 1015 PM EDT. * At 916 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing waterspouts were located along a line extending from near Brandywine Shoal Light to 9 nm south of Slaughter Beach, moving southeast at 15 knots. HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. * Locations impacted include... Overfalls Shoal, Buoy 3fb, Rehoboth Beach, Bethany Beach, Cape May Point, Buoy 2ms, Wildwood Reef, Indian River Inlet Bridge, Wildwood, Cape May Reef, and Fenwick Island.
