The Museum of Art Pudong (MAP) in Shanghai is celebrating its fifth anniversary, having welcomed nearly four million visits and staged close to 30 major exhibitions since its opening.
Designed by renowned French architect Jean Nouvel, the landmark museum on the Huangpu River has become one of the city's leading cultural destinations. To mark the anniversary, the museum has launched a summer program from June to August under the theme "Bloom in MAP." The season includes public participation projects, pop-up performances, interactive art events and special visitor programs, extending from the museum into riverside and commercial spaces across Pudong.
