Northeastern Union County in the Piedmont of North Carolina... * Until 430 PM EDT. * At 333 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Kannapolis to 11 miles southwest of Downtown Concord to 4 miles south of Uptown Charlotte, moving east at 60 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines. * Locations impacted include...
