At 509 PM CDT, the public reported a strong thunderstorm near Kinross, or 18 miles northeast of Sigourney, moving west at 10 mph. HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Public. At 500 PM CDT, public reported hail to the size of a half inch northwest of Wellman, Iowa. IMPACT...Gusty winds could cause minor tree limb damage and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Wellman, North English, South English, Parnell, Millersburg, Kinross, Webster, Holbrook, and Lake Belva Deer Park.
