Cedar River at Charles City affecting Floyd County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Cedar River at Charles City. * WHEN...Until this evening. * IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, Leland Avenue and Park Drive at 19th Avenue begins to flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 4:15 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 14.5 feet. - Bankfull stage is 9.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 4:15 AM CDT Saturday was 16.3 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage late this morning and continue falling to 3.9 feet Friday evening. - Flood stage is 12.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
