Iravani criticizes UNSC for holding western-backed meeting, says US and Israel must be held accountable

New York, IRNA – Iranian Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the UN Amir Saeid Iravani while opposing the UN Security Council’s Friday meeting on Resolution 2231 and criticizing the Council’s ineffectiveness said that the United States and the Israeli regime bear full responsibility for the consequences of their illegal actions and must be held fully accountable.
