A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas... Barataria Bay... Lake Salvador and Lake Cataouatche... At 456 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots and weak waterspouts. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 18 nm northwest of Barataria Bay to 10 nm northeast of Golden Meadow, moving north at 5 knots.
