Central McDowell County in southern West Virginia... * Until 800 PM EDT. * At 454 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain in much of McDowell County and in northern Buchanan County. Between 1.5 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area.
