Waters from Ocracoke Inlet to Cape Lookout NC from 20 to 60 NM... * Until 1030 PM EDT. * At 936 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located 10 nm southeast of Ar275, or 11 nm northeast of Atlas Tanker, moving southeast at 15 knots. HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. * The strong thunderstorm will remain over mainly open waters.
