Coastal waters from Savannah GA to Altamaha Sound GA out 20 nm, including Grays Reef National Marine Sanctuary... * Until 1030 PM EDT. * At 928 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line from near Beaufort 45 Feet Reef to 6 NM north of Ossabaw Sound, and is stationary. HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots. SOURCE...The Tybee Island Entrance Light reported a gust to 37 kt at 9:19 PM IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. * Locations impacted include... Hilton Head Reef, Channel Buoy 5, Whitewater Reef, Gaskins Bank Wreck, Gaskin Banks, Savannah Buoy, Fish America, General Gordon, Beaufort 45 Feet Reef, Savannah River Entrance, Calibogue Sound, Betsy Ross Reef, Sea Buoy 2w, Wassaw Sound Buoy and Sea Buoy Os.
