At 518 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a line of thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Brevort to 6 nm west of Beaver Island to 11 nm east of Point Detour, moving southeast at 15 knots. Those participating in the Chicago Yacht Club Race to Mackinac race should be aware of this incoming storms. Gusty winds and lightning may hit before rain begins.…
