Vermilion River At Lafayette, Surrey Street Gage Additional information is available at www.weather.gov. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Vermilion River at Lafayette, Surrey Street Gage. * WHEN...From this morning to early Thursday morning. * IMPACTS...At 13.5 feet, Flooding of some yards near the river will occur. Significant flooding of Beaver Park and Vermilionville will occur. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 6:15 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 12.2 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 6:15 AM CDT Tuesday was 12.2 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.5 feet this afternoon.
