The IRGC said its naval and aerospace forces carried out the strikes under "Operation Nasr 2," using missiles and drones.
Fuel storage tanks at the Fifth Fleet base were set ablaze, and the command and monitoring centre for unmanned guided boats was completely destroyed, according to the IRGC statement.
The statement described the operation as a response to the "mischief of the child-killing American army."
It said retaliatory operations are continuing.
