Vladimir Putin sent his greetings to Alexander Akhremov, Yaroslav Dobrokhvalov, Bogdan Yaitsevsky, Artyom Yeryomin and Ivan Pruglo, members of the Russian national team, on winning the 56th International Physics Olympiad 2026 in Bucaramanga, the Republic of Colombia.
The message reads, in part:
“Congratulations on your outstanding performance at the International Physics Olympiad.
It is gratifying to see that every member of the Russian team rose to the challenge of strong competition and won gold medals in an honest and uncompromising intellectual contest. This remarkable achievement comes as a well-deserved reward for your hard work, determination, confidence in your knowledge and your winning spirit. I would also like to express my special gratitude to your mentors, families, teammates and friends – everyone who has helped you achieve these impressive results.”
