China's gross domestic product (GDP) grew by 4.7% year on year in the first half of 2026, data from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) showed on Wednesday.
The country's GDP reached 69.6 trillion yuan (about $10.2 trillion) during this period, the NBS data showed.
