
According to Ukrinform, Andrii Kanashevych, head of the Kupiansk District Military Administration, announced the attack on Facebook.
"On July 16 at 05:50, in the village of Hrushivka, Kindrashivka community, three women aged 97, 83, and 72 were killed as a result of an enemy FPV drone strike. Further details are being clarified," the statement said.
In a separate attack at around 09:00, Russian forces struck a gas station in the village of Ohurtsivka, Shevchenkove community, with an FPV drone. No casualties were reported.

As Ukrinform previously reported, on July 15 Russian forces attacked a civilian vehicle with an FPV drone in the village of Husynka, Kindrashivka community, injuring two women aged 59 and 77 and a 90-year-old man. All three were hospitalized.
The settlement of Shevchenkove in the Kupiansk district was also hit by a guided aerial bomb (KAB), injuring a 66-year-old woman and a 64-year-old man. The attack damaged apartment buildings, private homes, and a civilian enterprise.
