Devils River At Cauthorn Ranch Near Juno affecting Val Verde County. Devils River At Bakers Crossing 19N Of Comstock affecting Val Verde County. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Cibolo Creek at Sutherland Springs. * WHEN...Until early Sunday morning. * IMPACTS...At 35.0 feet, Water submerges the roadway just south of the FM 539 bridge, making it impassable. Homes are not yet impacted at this level. At 37.0 feet, FM 539 is flooded and impassable near the Cibolo Creek. Access to some homes may cut off due to the floodwaters. Backflowing could affect residences along Gum Branch and Alum Creek. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 2:15 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 29.1 feet. - Bankfull stage is 17.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 2:15 PM CDT Thursday was 29.2 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 37.1 feet late tonight.
