SSU destroys Tu-95 military aircraft in Engels

According to Ukrinform, the president announced this on the social network X.

“I am grateful to our warriors for their accuracy. Once again, there have been successful long-range sanctions against Russia for this war. In particular, the Security Service of Ukraine destroyed a Tu-95 military aircraft in Engels that had been used for Russian missile strikes against our country. The distance from our state border is approximately 800 kilometers. We are defending ourselves justly and proactively,” Zelensky said.

He also added that the Ukrainian Defense Forces had struck targets in the Russian oil industry and specific targets in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine. “We are increasing the price Russia pays for its aggression against our country and our people,” the president stated.

As previously reported, on the night of July 16, residents of the Saratov region reported numerous explosions. A fire broke out at the military airfield in the city of Engels in the Saratov region.
