Oak Point to Saxon Harbor WI... Outer Apostle Islands Beyond 5 NM from Mainland... Port Wing to Sand Island WI... Sand Island to Bayfield WI... Two Harbors to Duluth MN... At 539 PM CDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Apostle Island Sea Caves to near Port Wing Harbor, moving east at 30 knots. HAZARD...Wind gusts to nearly 50 knots and small hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. strong thunderstorms will be near... Sand Bay, Siskwit Bay, Apostle Island Sea Caves, Apostle Islands National Lake Shore, Meyers Beach, Maikwe Bay, and Bark Bay around 545 PM CDT. Red Cliff and Basswood Island around 550 PM CDT. Oak Island, Madeline Island, and Hermit Island around 555 PM CDT. Chequamegon Bay around 605 PM CDT. Oak Point and Ashland Breakwater Lighthouse around 615 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by strong thunderstorms include Ironwood Island, Basswood Island, Marble Point, Stockton Island, Manitou Island, Hermit Island, and Brule Point.
