A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas... Nearshore Waters from Wilmette Harbor to Calumet Harbor... Nearshore Waters from Calumet Harbor to Michigan City... Open Waters from Wilmette Harbor to Michigan City out to Mid Lake... At 1139 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 16 nm northwest of New Buffalo to near Diversy Harbor, moving southeast at 30 knots. Additional thunderstorms may develop over the and increase in strength over the next hour.…
