Coastal and outer waters from Sandy Hook to Little Egg Inlet NJ... * Until 745 PM EDT. * At 547 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing waterspouts were located along a line extending from Axel Carlson Reef to 14 nm west of Belmar, moving east at 30 knots. HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts 34 knots or greater, and large hail. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas.
