Southwestern Sevier County in central Utah... * Until 645 PM MDT. * At 344 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain over the Silver King Burn Scar, specifically in the headwaters of Deer Creek. It is possible this storm may also work into Beaver Creek. Between 0.25 and 0.75 inches of rain have fallen over the upper headwaters of Deer Creek. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Excessive rainfall over the burn scar will result in debris flow moving through Deer Creek downstream to the Hoovers rest area and HW 89 near milepost 184. The debris flow can consist of rock, mud, vegetation and other loose materials. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding.
