Flash Flood Warning issued July 20 at 5:30PM MST until July 20 at 7:30PM MST by NWS Tucson AZ

At 530 PM MST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Sierra Vista, Hereford, Palominas, Coronado National Memorial and Ramsey Canyon Preserve. This includes the following highways... Route 90 between mile markers 326 and 336. Route 80 between mile markers 331 and 339. Route 92 between mile markers 324 and 343. This includes the following Flash Flood Prone Locations... Moson Rd from HWY 90 and Hereford Rd. This includes the following streams and drainages... Spring Creek and San Pedro River.…
