Vladimir Putin congratulated Maxim Bolshakov, Dmitry Grishko, Roman Kravchenko, Arina Prokudina, Alexander Skvortsov and Andrei Shishko, the Russian national team of school students that took part in the 67th International Mathematical Olympiad in China.
The message reads, in part:
“I congratulate you on your excellent performance at the 67th International Mathematical Olympiad in China.
You performed commendably at this demanding intellectual competition, demonstrating deep knowledge and an ability to apply a creative approach to challenges. The gold and silver medals you have won at the Olympiad are not only your great personal achievement but also a substantial contribution to the development of the best traditions of the Russian mathematical school. Of course, our special thanks go to your teachers, mentors, parents and your loved ones.”
