NEW INFORMATION --------------- * CHANGES TO WATCHES AND WARNINGS: - The Tropical Storm Warning has been cancelled for Central Jefferson, Central Plaquemines, Central St. Charles, Eastern Orleans, Lower St. Bernard, Lower St. Charles, Southeast St. Tammany, Southern Hancock, Southern Harrison, Southern Jackson, Upper Jefferson, Upper Plaquemines, Upper St. Bernard, Upper St. Charles, and Western Orleans - The Tropical Storm Watch has been cancelled for Upper Lafourche and Upper Terrebonne * CURRENT WATCHES AND WARNINGS: - A Tropical Storm Warning is in effect for Coastal Jefferson, Lower Lafourche, Lower Plaquemines, and Lower Terrebonne * STORM INFORMATION: - About 100 miles southwest of New Orleans LA or about 60 miles west-southwest of Houma LA - 29.1N 91.6W - Storm Intensity 45 mph - Movement West or 260 degrees at 12 mph SITUATION OVERVIEW ------------------ Tropical Storm Bertha made landfall near the Biloxi Wildlife Management Area in St. Bernard Parish, Louisiana at around 200 PM CDT.
