Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha discussed the next steps toward EU accession and the security situation in the Black Sea with Moldova's reappointed Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mihai Popșoi.

Sybiha announced this on X, Ukrinform reports.

The diplomat said the two sides discussed their bilateral agenda and the next steps toward EU accession, emphasizing the importance of opening all negotiating clusters without delay.

" Particular attention was paid to the security situation in the Black Sea. Russia's continued attacks on civil vessels and Ukraine's port infrastructure are a direct threat to freedom of navigation in the Black Sea. Their consequences extend far beyond Ukraine, affecting regional and global food security," Sybiha said.

Sybiha and Popșoi agreed to continue working with partners to strengthen the resilience of alternative logistics and grain export routes.
