Russian forces attempting breakthroughs along new sections of border in Kharkiv region

"Russian forces continue to increase pressure in the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, within the defense area of the Hart border brigade. After suffering heavy losses during assault operations in recent weeks, they have now begun attempts to break through in new areas," the statement said.

In particular, small Russian infantry groups are attempting to infiltrate near the settlement of Artilne, located close to Ukraine’s state border.

Border guards are monitoring Russian movements and destroying enemy personnel and equipment both on Ukrainian territory and behind enemy lines, even at the initial stages of their advance toward Ukraine.

As reported by Ukrinform, spokesperson for the Joint Forces Group Viktor Tregubov said that Russian troops continue intense pressure in the Kupiansk and Kharkiv directions, but the effectiveness of their offensive operations remains low despite attempts to achieve gains before the end of the summer campaign.
