Arab media said the headquarters of anti-Iranian terrorist separatist groups in Erbil were hit by explosive drones.
No details on damage, casualties or who carried out the attack were immediately available.
A Patriot defence system deployed at the U.S. base in Erbil was activated following the strikes, and American warplanes were seen flying over the area, the reports said.
