“Last night’s Russian strike on Ukraine killed eight people. More than 50 others were injured. It was a brutal and cruel attack: The Russians fired missiles at homes, civilians, and children,” the interior minister said.

In particular, in the Kryvyi Rih district, a private home where a large family lived was directly hit. Six people were killed, including three children. These include a 6-year-old girl and two boys, aged 11 and 17. At least 8 people were injured, including two children. There are preliminary reports of several people missing; the relevant units are doing their utmost to find them. The identification of recovered body parts is also underway.

In the Kyiv region, five people were injured, including members of a single family. Thanks to the prompt actions of rescue workers, three people were successfully extracted from under the rubble and are receiving medical care, the minister noted.

In Lviv, a missile strike has caused significant damage to apartment buildings; dozens of people have been injured, including children. A police officer and an emergency service worker were also wounded.

“The floors between the floors have been destroyed—we’ve deployed aerial rescue equipment to evacuate residents. We’ve already managed to rescue 39 people. A mobile service center from the Ministry of Internal Affairs is also operating at the site of the strike—citizens can quickly replace lost documents,” the minister said.
