Flash Flood Warning issued August 2 at 6:10PM MDT until August 2 at 7:15PM MDT by NWS Albuquerque NM

At 610 PM MDT, local law enforcement reported people stranded due to flash flooding in the Willow Creek subdivision. More thunderstorms are approaching the Sacaton and Hummingbird burn scars and may cross between 630 and 730 PM with up to a half inch of additional rainfall. Up to 1.3 inches of rain have already fallen. Flash flooding continues and may get worse if additional rain falls. Excessive rainfall over the burn scar will impact Willow Creek and Gilita Creek. This includes Willow Creek Road including the Ben Lilly and Willow Creek Campgrounds and any other residences in this area. Bursum Road near the Willow Creek Campground may also be impacted. Middle Fork Trail number 157 and Iron Creek Trail number 172 will be especially dangerous. The debris flow can consist of rock, mud, vegetation and other loose materials.
