* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...The following area, Central Susitna Valley. This includes the cities of Talkeetna, Trapper Creek, And Petersville. * WHEN...Until 2 PM AKDT this afternoon. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Additional rainfall up to 0.5 inches is possible along the Susitna and Chulitna Basins through Wednesday afternoon. Talkeetna: The heavy rainfall and drainage from high terrain near the Alaska Range could be impactful to erosion-prone areas and low-lying or poor-drainage areas throughout the rest of the Susitna Valley. Small rivers such as Montana Creek are expected to rise as well, but not to the level that occurred in late July.
