On the night of August 6, the Slavneft-Yanos oil refinery was struck. A direct hit on the facility was recorded, followed by a fire on the premises—three separate fire outbreaks have been confirmed. The extent of the damage is being assessed.
On August 5, the Bashneft-Novoil oil refinery in Ufa was struck. A strike on the facility was recorded, followed by a fire on the premises. According to preliminary information, the combined process unit and the L-35-11/1000 catalytic reforming unit were hit. The extent of the damage is being assessed.
In addition, damage to two ground-based relay stations used to control Geran/Gerbera-type combat UAVs has been confirmed in the areas of Zaliznyi Port in the Kherson region and Olenivka (temporarily occupied Crimea). The Russians were using these stations to ensure continuous control of the unmanned aerial vehicles.
