
According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.
“On the night of August 7, 2026, as part of efforts to reduce the Russian aggressor’s offensive capabilities, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck an early-warning radar station near Olenivka and a storage, preparation, and launch site for strike UAVs in the Hvardiiske area. Both facilities are located in the temporarily occupied Ukrainian Crimea,” the statement reads.
The destruction of two ground-based control repeaters for Geran/Gerbera-type combat UAVs in Olenivka (Autonomous Republic of Crimea) and Zaliznyi Port (Kherson region) has also been confirmed.
“Ground-based relay stations ensure stable communication and the transmission of commands between operators and combat drones, increasing their range and effectiveness,” the General Staff commented.

As reported by Ukrinform, on the night of August 7, the Hvaardiiske airfield in the temporarily occupied Crimea was attacked, and a fuel and lubricants depot caught fire.
