At 1039 PM MST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms produced heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. A streamflow gauge on Vekol Wash at I-8 was reporting 1800 cfs at 10:30 PM MST. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding.
