Central Jackson County in southwestern South Dakota... * Until 1045 PM MDT /1145 PM CDT/. * At 938 PM MDT /1038 PM CDT/, a severe thunderstorm was located 6 miles east of Cedar Pass, or 17 miles west of Kadoka, moving southeast at 30 mph. THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR KADOKA, WANBLEE. HAZARD...90 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail. SOURCE...Automated observations. IMPACT...You are in a life-threatening situation. Flying debris may be deadly to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be heavily damaged or destroyed. Homes and businesses will have substantial roof and window damage.
