Wabash River at Montezuma, Covington, Terre Haute, Hutsonville Legacy Power Plant Site, and Riverton. .Rounds of heavy rain has dumped between 2.50 inches and 5.25 inches of precipitation along the Wabash River over the past 48 hours, ending at 8 AM EDT this morning. This is bringing flooding to most of the Wabash River. At this point in time, all forecast crests are expected to be below moderate flood stage. Additional rain, on and off, into the new work week is in store, which likely will prolong and possibly worsen flooding. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Wabash River at Covington. * WHEN...Until early Wednesday morning. * IMPACTS...At 21.0 feet, Lanes to river residences west of South River Road south of Covington flooded.
