...The National Weather Service in Indianapolis IN has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers and locations in Indiana... East Fork White River near Rivervale. White River at Newberry and Edwardsport. .Repeating rounds of showers and thunderstorms over the past 72 hours, ending at 8 AM this morning, has brought copious rainfall to eastern, northern central, and much of western Indiana. Maximum radar estimates across a swath from Clinton and Howard counties north of Indianapolis, east-southeast and southeast to Randolph and Decatur counties, show roughly six to 12.5 inches of rain has fallen! This has led to widespread flooding, some of it historic. Forecasts for the river levels to exceed flood stage have been consistent near Rivervale, Newberry , and Edwardsport. More rain, on and off, is in the forecast through Sunday night.
