The effects of the Russian attack on Ukrainian territory have been reported in eight regions and in Kyiv. Infrastructure, residential and civilian facilities, as well as the energy sector, were targeted.

According to Ukrinform, Prime Minister Serhii Koretskyi reported this on Facebook.

Damage has been reported in eight regions and in Kyiv. Six people were injured in the capital and the Kyiv region. Unfortunately, two people were killed and 14 were injured in Kryvyi Rih. Another person was killed in Sumy. Our sincere condolences go out to their families and loved ones,” the statement reads.

As the head of government noted, the strikes targeted infrastructure, residential and civilian facilities, as well as energy facilities.

According to him, since last night, 341 rescue workers and 93 pieces of equipment from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine have been working across the country to address the aftermath of the attack.

“I thank the Air Defense Forces, whose professionalism made it possible to avoid much greater destruction and save people’s lives,” Koretskyi emphasized.
