Wabash River at Terre Haute, Montezuma, and at Lafayette. ...The Flood Warning continues for the following waterways in Indiana...Illinois... Wildcat Creek near Lafayette. Wabash River at Covington, and at Hutsonville Legacy Power Plant Site. .Large quantities of rain have fallen over Indiana over the past several days bringing widespread flooding to much of central and part of southern Indiana. Rainfall accumulations of up to ten plus inches fell from northwest Indiana to east central Indiana to southeast Indiana, and 4 to 6 inches fell in the immediate vicinity of the northern and middle Wabash River...with even higher amounts just over the Illinois/Indiana state border near Covington. Numerous locations along the Wabash River are reaching moderate flood stage. The crest passed Lafayette today and should reach and should reach Covington Monday evening.
