...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana... Illinois... Wabash River from Montezuma to Mount Carmel White River from Elliston to Hazleton .Minor flooding continues along portions of central Indiana rivers due to excessive rain over the previous few weeks. Largely dry weather is in store for the week ahead, with only a few low chances of rain. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Wabash River at Terre Haute. * WHEN...Until Wednesday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 21.5 feet, All of the area on the west side of the Wabash River is flooded from Sugar Creek to U.S. 40 and I-70. South Lake becomes part of the wetland project. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:30 PM CDT /1:30 PM EDT/ Monday the stage was 21.7 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 12:30 PM CDT /1:30 PM EDT/ Monday was 23.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage early Wednesday morning and continue falling to 8.6 feet Thursday, September 03. - Flood stage is 16.5 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood…
