At 132 PM MST /232 PM MDT/, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area, near Marble Canyon. Between 0.75 and 1.75 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, normally dry washes, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Marble Canyon, Marble Canyon Airport, Jackass Canyon, Horseshoe Bend and Lees Ferry. This includes the following highways... U.S. Highway 89 between mile markers 543 and 546. the Colorado River between river miles 0 and 11. U.S. Highway 89A between mile markers 531 and 545. This includes the following slot canyons...
