The court in Hillerød has today dismissed a case regarding money laundering of approximately 80 million Danish kroner through three so-called invoice factories.
The five accused in the case were each specifically accused of money laundering of varying amounts up to the full amount of approximately 80 million Danish kroner. Some of the accused were also charged with other violations of the law.
The court found all five accused guilty in the highest degree and sentenced them to unconditional prison sentences ranging from 2 years and 6 months to 4 years and 6 years.

Trial in the case of human trafficking at nail salons (2/2) The 39-year-old manager of the nail salons was sentenced to three years in prison for human trafficking, while the other two accused were each sentenced to one year and six months in prison for aiding and abetting human exploitation. Two of the three convicted have appealed the verdict to the Land Court, demanding mitigation or acquittal. An 18-year-old man was sentenced to prison on Wednesday by the Helsingør Court for five criminal offenses. He was charged with a burglary at a villa in Hørsholm, car theft in Nivå, two cases of theft of license plates, and possession of two knives, two airguns, and a handgun. The court found the 18-year-old guilty of the charges and sentenced him to a total of five months in prison. The man is also being investigated in another case of burglary, which the police are continuing to investigate.

A burglary was tried on Sunday, June 21st, by the Court in Helsingør for a crime in Charlottenlund. He stole a credit card, two Prada bags, a wallet, a Hermes scarf, and a Chanel bag, totaling a suspected value between 63,000 and 84,000 Danish kroner. The 41-year-old Lithuanian man was arrested by a dog patrol. He was sentenced to 60 days in prison and a six-year ban on entering the country.

The four individuals, who were presented today in a preliminary hearing at the Court in Helsingør, have been remanded until June 30th. They are charged with attempted murder of a particularly violent nature, in violation of Section 245, Subsection 1, of the Criminal Code.
Romanians sentenced to immediate imprisonment and deportation for theft in a store1.6.2026 09:45:34 CEST | Government announcement
To Romanian citizens, a 20-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man, were arrested and charged with theft on Saturday afternoon, in accordance with Article 276 of the Criminal Code, after being detained by store security at Magasin Lyngby. On Sunday, the two individuals appeared before the basic hearing at the Helsingør Court, where they were given a suspended sentence of 30 days in prison, deportation from Denmark, and a five-year ban on re-entry for stealing eight perfumes worth a total of 9,190 kroner.
