According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said this in a Facebook update as of 08:00 on September 4.
According to the update, the enemy launched 100 airstrikes, dropping 294 guided aerial bombs.
In addition, Russian invaders used 10,334 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,048 attacks on settlements and positions of Ukrainian troops.
In the Sumy region, the settlements of Koreniok, Pysarivka, Bachivsk, Ulanove and Sukhodil came under Russian artillery fire. Airstrikes also targeted areas near Tolstodubove, Esman, Sadky and Ivolzhanske.
Ukrainian Air Force units, missile forces and artillery struck four areas where Russian personnel were concentrated, three artillery systems, three UAV command posts and one command-and-observation post.

On the Southern Slobozhanshchyna front, Ukrainian units repelled 22 Russian attacks. Russian forces attempted to advance near Kozacha Lopan, Lyman, Starytsia and Vilcha, as well as toward Okhrimivka and Bochkovе.
On the Kupiansk front, Russian forces launched one attack toward Bohuslavka.
Russian attempts to break through Ukrainian defenses were repelled on the Lyman front, where Russian forces launched 11 attacks near Lyman and Dibrova, as well as toward Hrekivka, Kopanky, Novoiehorivka, Novoselivka and Drobysheve.
On the Sloviansk front, Russian forces launched ten assaults near Kalenyky and Ozerne, as well as toward Kryva Luka.
No Russian assault operations were recorded on the Kramatorsk front.
On the Kostiantynivka front, 24 Russian attacks were recorded. The invaders conducted assault operations near Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Mykolaipillia and Raiske, as well as toward Novohryhorivka, Novopavlivka and Pavlivka.
The highest number of assault operations was recorded on the Pokrovsk front, where Ukrainian forces repelled 38 Russian attacks.
Enemy forces were active near Bilytske, Serhiivka, Udachne and Molodetske, and also launched assaults toward Novyi Donbas, Svitle, Vilne, Sofiivka, Toretske, Pryiut, Shevchenko, Dobropillia, Novohryshyne and Novopavlivka.
On the Oleksandrivka front, Russian forces launched two attacks toward Rybne and Yehorivka.
On the Huliaipole front, Russian forces launched seven attacks toward Vozdvyzhivka.
On the Orikhiv front, Ukrainian forces repelled three attempts by Russian troops to advance near Orikhiv and Prymorske.
No Russian assault operations were recorded on the Dnipro River front.
No signs of Russian forces forming offensive groupings were detected on the Volyn and Polissia fronts.
